Dani’s House of Pizza
Pizza Eating Contest Rules

1) Each contestant will be presented with unlimited slices of regular pizza. Slices will be from Dani's
famous 22" (in diameter) pies. Every effort will be made to cut the pie so that the slices are as close
in size as humanly possible. At the referee’s signal, each contestant will eat the pizza slices as fast
as they safely can. One slice must be completely eaten, including the crust, before the contestant
may start the next slice. After eight minutes, the referee will signal to stop. The goal is to eat the
most slices within the eight minutes. Portions of the last slice being eaten when time runs out will
also be taken into account.

2) The pizza will be served at room temperature and will not be too hot to eat safely. Beverages will
also be served. The contestants may drink the beverages during the competition. Contestants must
keep the food down for two minutes after the contest ends to be eligible to win.

3) There will be five rounds of playoffs. Each round will be scheduled for ten contestants, but there
may be less, if some contestants don't show up. The top two eaters in each round will advance to
the finals. The prior year's contest winner is automatically in the finals. The finals will therefore
have the ten playoff winners and last year's winner..

4) Contest is open to 50 contestants. If more than 50 people sign up, there will be a random
drawing held on July 1st to determine the 50 contestants. The sign up period may be extended at
owner's discretion, if more contestants are needed.

5) Must be 18 years or older to enter. No purchase necessary. In the event of a tie, the judges will
determine the winner. The decision of the judges is final. Contest is not open to employees of
Dani's House of Pizza or their families.

6) Contestants must sign a release form to enter, absolving Dani’s House of Pizza, its owner,
employees, associates, and affiliates from any liability for any illness suffered as a result of the
contest. Contestants must also represent on the form that they are in good health and have no
knowledge of any valid medical reasons why they should not enter the contest. By entering the
contest, contestants agree that Dani’s House of Pizza may use their name, image, and likeness in
any promotional materials, including usage on their Web site.

7) Not responsible for typographical errors or omissions.
